Aneel Ursani, MD, MBA
Dr. Aneel Ursani is a board-certified psychiatrist with extensive clinical leadership experience across inpatient, outpatient, telemedicine, and managed care settings. He brings a unique blend of medical expertise, business acumen, and a deep commitment to innovative, patient-centered mental health care to Cerebral Spa.
At Cerebral Spa, Dr. Ursani focuses exclusively on Deep TMS prescribing. He collaborates closely with the clinical team to evaluate patients for BrainsWay Deep TMS treatment and oversees the medical aspects of care for individuals seeking relief from treatment-resistant depression, anxiety, OCD, and PTSD. His role emphasizes safe, evidence-based Deep TMS protocols to help patients achieve meaningful symptom improvement through this advanced, non-invasive therapy.
Dr. Ursani earned his Doctor of Medicine from St. George’s University School of Medicine and completed his ACGME-accredited psychiatry residency at Eastern Virginia Medical School. He holds an Executive MBA from the University of California, Berkeley Haas School of Business and a double Bachelor of Arts degree in Molecular and Cell Biology and Psychology from UC Berkeley.
He is board-certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and maintains active, unrestricted medical licenses in over 30 states, including Kansas and Missouri. Dr. Ursani is an active member of the American Psychiatric Association, the Missouri Psychiatric Physicians Association, and the Kansas Psychiatric Society.
Throughout his career, Dr. Ursani has held prominent leadership positions, including State Behavioral Health Medical Director for Elevance Health Healthy Blue Kansas, Fractional Chief Medical Officer at Klinic, Medical Director of a geriatric psychiatry hospital, and Chief Medical Officer and Co-Founder of Revive Telehealth. He previously served as Director of Clinical Quality and Staff Psychiatrist at Cerebral, where he developed treatment protocols, oversaw clinical outcomes, and supported high-quality care delivery.
Dr. Ursani is passionate about expanding access to effective, innovative treatments like Deep TMS for patients who have not found sufficient relief through traditional approaches.
